Job Description

As a .NET Developer, you’ll play a vital role in the development and maintenance of software applications using the .NET framework. You’ll contribute to the creation of robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using the .NET framework and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design software solutions, and implement system enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as C# and VB.NET.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed software to ensure proper functionality, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggesting improvements to ensure code quality.
• Integrate applications with backend databases and external systems using appropriate APIs and technologies.
• Optimize application performance through code optimization, caching, and efficient utilization of system resources.
• Collaborate with the QA team to define test cases and support the testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and user manuals for developed software components.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution to minimize system downtime.
• Collaborate with the operations team to deploy and configure .NET applications in production environments.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in .NET development using languages such as C# and VB.NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience developing and maintaining .NET applications.
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, or Web API.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve software defects.
• Familiarity with testing principles and practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
