Please Note:  Although this position works virtually 90% of the time, we are only considering candidates  who reside in the Houston metro area

Working in a virtual environment presents unique challenges but also provides those with the traits described above great flexibility, time savings, and the opportunity to largely create your own schedule.

 

Our company tries to manage to the bottom line which means we try to do a minimum amount of evaluating a gross quantity of detailed sales metrics and look instead at your overall purposeful activity and revenue generation results.

 

Simply put, those that produce tangible results receive a minimum of oversight. For those people that cannot self-maintain a rigorous attention to doing the steps necessary to succeed in sales it is definitely best that they seek employment in a traditional environment that will be more productive for them. Working virtually is certainly not for everyone.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of IT related sales experience, preferably in consulting or services / staffing
  • Bachelors degree is a Must
  • Must possess the ability to aggressively schedule appointments via telephone and in person
  • Ability to run face to face meetings with potential clients
  • Ability to prospect new business via referral sources and cold calling (both on phone and in person)
  • Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in-person
  • Money-motivated  and/or strongly goal oriented
  • Aggressive, persistent, and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate an ability to quickly learn
  • Service-oriented, motivated and dependable
  • Ability to approach projects with a sense of ownership and enthusiasm.
  • Desire and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
