When One Texas ISD Reduced Physical Storage Space
DocuNav Solutions Brought Files & Workflows to the Cloud
After 25 years in the same building, the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) approved construction of a new administrative building, which would be slated to open in 2023. The catch was the new building would have insufficient room to store the district’s 10 million pages of paper.
In the process of digitizing boxes of documents, CFISD saw this as an opportunity to integrate all their files (both those being scanned and those already in a paperless legacy system) into a new Laserfiche system. The end goal was to allow them to create automated workflows and conduct education document management capable of elevating accuracy, efficiency, and deliverability across departments.
Our webinar goes through the story of Cy-Fair’s DocuNav solutions journey with iSphere’s help, breaking the project into three distinct phases:
- Phase 1: Configuring the system for each department, scanning, migration (documents, forms, and workflows)
- Phase 2: Updating current and developing new automated workflows and forms, including contract management
- Phase 3: Bringing on campuses
